BRE Group
BRE Group provides research, advisory, testing, inspection and certification services for the built environment, including third party certification of fire, security and environmental products and services. It began in 1921 as the Building Research Establishment, a UK government funded research organisation, and its UK testing facilities are at the BRE Science Park. BRE is owned by the BRE Trust, a registered charity, and its profits are gift aided to the Trust to fund research for public benefit.
