Kiwa Electrical Compliance

Kiwa Electrical Compliance holds two UKAS-accredited laboratory numbers (2360 and 2667) across its Brentwood and Blackwood sites, trading under that name since its rebrand from RN Electronics. Testing covers international schemes including CE, UKCA, FCC, ISED and VCCI, spanning emissions, immunity and pre-compliance work for sectors from IT and medical devices to gaming and automotive accessories. Equipment too large for the lab can be tested on-site.

Eurofins Electrical & Electronic UK Ltd (Castleford)

The Castleford laboratory of Eurofins Electrical & Electronic UK, part of UL Solutions, is UKAS-accredited (1574) for EMC, radio, EMF and electrical safety testing, on Speedwell Road near Leeds. The site has a 40 GHz semi-anechoic chamber, 18 GHz and 40 GHz anechoic chambers and two screened rooms, and takes items up to 1.5 tonnes. Its accredited scope covers civil EMC to EN 55032, EN 55035, the EN 61000 series, EN 60601-1-2 (medical) and the EN 50121 railway series, ETSI radio standards including EN 300 328 and EN 301 893, FCC Parts 15B, 15C and 18, and Canadian RSS radio standards. The company's EMC, rail EMC and military EMC training courses are held at the site.

Eurofins Electrical & Electronic UK Ltd (Grangemouth)

The Grangemouth laboratory of Eurofins Electrical & Electronic UK, part of UL Solutions, is UKAS-accredited (1574) for EMC, radio, EMF and electrical safety testing at Grangemouth Technology Park, serving Scotland and the north of England. Facilities include two 40 GHz semi-anechoic chambers (one also usable as fully anechoic) and two screened rooms. Accredited testing covers emissions and immunity to CISPR and EN 61000 standards, railway (EN 50121), medical (EN 60601-1-2) and marine (EN 60945) EMC, radio to ETSI standards, and FCC and ISED scopes, alongside pre-compliance work.

Eurofins Electrical & Electronic UK Ltd (Yate)

The Yate laboratory of Eurofins Electrical & Electronic UK, part of UL Solutions, is UKAS-accredited (1574) for EMC, radio and EMF testing, on the Beeches Industrial Estate near Bristol. The site has an 18 GHz semi-anechoic chamber, a 6 GHz anechoic chamber and two screened rooms, and takes items up to 1.5 tonnes. Its accredited scope covers civil EMC to EN 55032, EN 55035, the EN 61000 series, EN 60601-1-2 (medical), EN 60945 (marine) and the EN 50121 railway series, ETSI radio standards including EN 300 328, and FCC Part 15B and Canadian ICES-003 emissions, alongside pre-compliance testing.

Roxburgh EMC

Roxburgh EMC has manufactured EMC filter products for more than 50 years, and today trades as a division of Alpha 3 Manufacturing Limited following an August 2025 rebrand. The company designs and produces mains, IEC inlet and chassis-mount EMC/RFI filters, including low-earth-leakage variants for medical equipment, from its 40,000 sq ft facility in Scunthorpe. Alongside its filter range, Roxburgh offers a pre-compliance EMC testing service and EMC consultancy support to its industrial and healthcare customers.

Product Approvals Ltd

Product Approvals works as a product-certification consultancy from Telford, established in 2006 to help manufacturers and importers reach UKCA, CE and other overseas approvals. It has run its own in-house EMC test lab since 2018, with a semi-anechoic chamber covering the full emissions and immunity suite, offered on a CE/UKCA self-certification basis rather than as a UKAS-accredited lab; testing can be carried out in-lab or on-site for large equipment. It also runs a separate assembly and test facility for low-to-medium volume production.

GB METECC (UK) Limited

GB METECC traces back to 2005, when Peter and Sharon Metcalfe founded it as METECC, an EMC consultancy near Burgess Hill; the business was relaunched under the GBE Technology Group in 2024 as GB METECC (UK) Limited, moving into a purpose-built Littlehampton facility. Its 3-metre semi-anechoic chamber covers radiated emissions from 9kHz to 18GHz and radio testing to 25GHz, alongside conducted emissions, immunity, harmonics, flicker, ESD, surge and transient testing, with an Open Area Test Site for larger items.

Cranage EMC & Safety

Founded in 1992 by Keith and Pauline Richens, Cranage EMC & Safety remains under family management at its Tern Valley Business Park site in Market Drayton, holding UKAS accreditation number 1833 to ISO/IEC 17025. The lab covers EMC, product safety and environmental testing from pre-compliance through to full compliance, including on-site work for equipment too large to move, across sectors such as rail, medical and industrial equipment.

dB Technology (Cambridge) Limited

dB Technology (Cambridge) holds UKAS accreditation number 9412 to ISO/IEC 17025, plus FCC accreditation (Registration No. 421841), from its Cottenham site, where it runs anechoic and semi-anechoic chambers, a screened room, an open-area test site and an environmental test chamber for EMC and radio-approvals work. Founded in 1988 and incorporated in 1997, the lab tests to CE, UKCA, FCC, ISED and RED requirements across sectors from industrial and medical equipment to household appliances and gaming.

Brighton EMC

Operating from Paxton's Brighton site, Brighton EMC holds its own UKAS accreditation (schedule 25241) to ISO/IEC 17025, with testing carried out solely at that address. The facility covers emissions and immunity work, including radiated and conducted emissions, ESD, surge, transient/burst and harmonics and flicker, plus pre-compliance scanning, and is used both for Paxton's own products and for hire by outside manufacturers in sectors such as industrial and telecoms equipment.
